Impact of globalization in Indonesia market.

Actually, what is meant by Globalization? In general, the notion of globalization is the process of international integration that occurs because of the exchange of world views, thoughts, products, and various other aspects of culture.  
And for the impact on the market in Indonesia very much including 3 important impacts,which is market growth in stratup and franchises, item on sale and prices.For Indonesia the impact is very good because Indonesia is a developing country where the trade market is very large and produces profits for our country and our people. Globalization makes everyone in a country or world feel close without limits because they can get information from other countries quickly.

The Impact of Globalization for Startups and Franchises in Indonesia. With the easy exchange of information now, this makes many people or new companies want to start a startup business that starts from solving problems in society and creating new markets. Every year even every month many new startups emerge. At present there are at least more than 1500 local startups in Indonesia, quoted from Daily Social. The potential of internet users in Indonesia which is increasing from year to year is also a catalyst for establishing a startup. As we know there are several successful stratums and franchises in Indonesia like Go-jek,Traveloka,Bukalapak,Tokopedia,Ruang Guru,Sabana,J.co,Upnromal etc. they come from community problems and they create new markets. For example GO-JEK is one a successful startup in Indonesia, the GO-JEK created by (PT application of the nation's children) was originally created to help people who want to use public vehicles easily and safely who only use mobile phones we can call motorbike riders then they will pick up we are wherever we are and after succeeding in our own country now GO-JEK has expanded their market to 3 countries, namely Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam.

Impact of globalization for item on sale in indonesia.In Indonesia, e-commerce startups have been highly developed, such as Tokopedia and Bukalapapak. Since the internet in our country has grown faster, globalization has had a big impact on the field of online trading. With the ease of people exchanging, searching and providing information on the internet, now the willingness in the Indonesian market is very diverse with very high growth.Data from the ICD research institute predicts that the e-commerce market in Indonesia will grow 52% from 2017-2018. This figure is higher than other countries such as Malaysia (24%), Thailand (32%), and the Philippines (28%) Surely this value is very tempting for some investors, both domestic and foreign.Several large VC (Venture Capital) such as Rocket Internet, CyberAgent, East Ventures, and IdeoSource have even invested in e-commerce companies based in Indonesia. Just name a few of them are giant Lazada and Zalora, Berrybenka, Tokopedia, Bilna, Saqina, VIP Plaza,Bukalapak and many more.based on these data, this proves that globalization affects the market potential, where in the beginning our country was only shopping for basic necessities in traditional markets, but now the market has been very diverse because of the easy exchange of information and the internet which makes people have the ability to buy goods and ease of buying wherever and whenever using e-commerce applications.

Impact of globalization for price product indonesia.since many e-commerce applications in Indonesia have made the price competition of an item very competitive. For example, in the past when we shop in traditional markets always bid at the prices we want but sometimes we do not get these prices because of low market competition. everyone can know the cheapest price of an item on the internet or e-commerce, this makes the market also compete to sell at low prices in order to get buyers.in addition to competition in the prices of basic goods, current price competition has been to electronic devices for example mobile phones. In the past cellphones were sold at high prices but had very ordinary specs and would be very expensive for specs that are high in time. with specs as high as high but with prices as cheap as cheap, this is like the Xiaomi and Realme brands they only take 3-5% profit from each cellphone sold. Of course this is very beneficial to buyers where we get a lot of choices and low prices.

From the information that I gave, we can conclude that globalization has a very good effect on the market. Buyers are very profitable because they get a lot of choices at low prices and also for sellers they can expand their sales even out of the country. As such, globalization also has a detrimental effect on the market, because of the easy exchange of information and the desire of people to buy cheap goods some people use to deceive buyers who want to buy cheap goods but this only happens a little. For me globalization makes the market always fresh because we can always get low prices because of market competition.
